Clive Palmer (OH 1943- 1948)
Clive sadly passed away at the age of 74 after suffering a heart attack followed by a fall, from which he never recovered.

He joined the Cathedral School during the war years and, on leaving at the age of 17 went straight on to perform his National Service and served in Egypt. After his demob, he decided to become a policeman and joined the then newly formed Liverpool Police Cadets, later going to East Africa to be part of the Kenya police.

He returned to the UK, leaving his uniformed life behind to train as a manager in civilian life, working back in Liverpool, Norwich then up to Middlesbrough.

Although suffering a stroke in 2000 he carried on enjoying life for the next seven years.
