Letter to Mother - TN Wilmot
[KW date July 20th 1915]

My dear mother

I wrote to you two days ago but can't remember whether it got posted or not. I hope it did as I cannot find it anywhere.

We are going back again into the trenches this evening for the usual spell. After that we shall probably go back to G y again for 8 days then a rest perhaps.

I have just come back from bomb throwing, that is one of the nastiest jobs going. We have had all kinds of accidents at it.

These are very nice trenches where we are at present but they harass us rather frequently.

It is rather nice while in billets to get a horse and ride round the country. I generally manage to get one of the Coy Commanders horses.

There absolutely no news at all but will write in the trenches as we really have plenty of time then.

Your loving son Tom

PS I had a letter from Cecil yesterday
