Brian E Lewis (OH 1951-1957)
Brian E. Lewis joined HCS as a cathedral chorister in 1951 and sang as a treble at each of the Three Choirs Festivals until he left in 1956. He stayed on however as a Server for members of the Cathedral Clergy. On leaving school in 1957 he joined Messrs. Wiggins & Co on an electrical engineering apprenticeship. He later moved to Westons Cider where he remained for over 30 years, ending up as Director of Overseas Sales. He had the opportunity to travel across much of the globe during the course of his work. He had been married to his wife Joyce for over 50 years and they had only recently celebrated their golden wedding anniversary over in Mansel Lacey. He would always enjoy the company of his two granddaughters whenever they visited him. “
