Every Man Remembered
08/08/2014
Hereford Cathedral School has always remembered those OH who served in conflicts and those who lost their lives.

Those who fell in the Boer War, WW1, WW2 and more recent conflicts are remembered in memorial plaques in the School Library and the Cathedral. Each year the School remembers its dead in a moving private service for remembrance. Our evening of 'Words and Music for Remembrance' in the Cathedral is a poignant remembrance and includes other local school and the standard bearers of the Royal British Legion.

Four OH are remembered in the names of the Junior School Houses.

The Rolls of Honour from 1917-1919 show over 400 OH served in WW1 and over 70 gave their lives.

We have been collating information about each of the fallen and hope over the next four years to be able to cover all OH who served in WW1. You will be able to read about them through the OH website and OH Magazine.
