Letters to Mother - TN Wilmott
16/11/2015
2/Worc Regt Sunday

My dear mother,

I am still on this bomb school. We have been moving about so much lately that we have not been able to do much in the way of bombing and so it has lasted a little more than 8 days. We have chucked about 600 boxes of bombs and its quite good sport.

The trenches are awful at present and are falling in. They blew up a mine under us the other day and laid out a lot of fellows let alone knocking the trench in.

My leave ought to come on about the 26th. We have to go by Havre now and it [adds] hours to the journey. At the end of it I believe you are liable to be caught and packed off to Serbia. If so no leave for me.

Your loving son Tom
